Veterans Memorial Light Pole Banner Program

Honoring Those Who Served

The Los Banos Downtown Association is proud to honor and recognize local veterans and active-duty military members through our Veterans Memorial Light Pole Banner Program.

Displayed throughout Downtown Los Banos, each commemorative banner is a lasting tribute to the courage, service, and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country. The program also creates a meaningful way for families and our community to preserve and share the legacy of their loved ones.

Honor Your Veteran

Each professionally printed, double-sided banner features the veteran’s photograph, name, branch of service, and may include rank and years served. Banners measure 18" x 48" and are displayed on Downtown Los Banos light poles.

The initial sponsorship is $300 and includes graphic design, banner printing, installation, removal, and seasonal display.

Families select two patriotic display periods each year, including Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriot Day, Veterans Day, or Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Returning Banners

At the conclusion of the display season, families may have their banner returned or allow LBDA to retain it for future display seasons. The annual participation fee for a returning banner is $200.

Apply to Honor a Veteran

Applications are accepted based on available downtown light-pole locations. A clear, high-resolution photograph is required, with a military photograph preferred.
